Do you need a review of Pre-Algebra or an extra boost before Algebra? Do you want to reinforce your prior math course or keep your math skills fresh over the summer? Are you joining TPS for the first time and want to make sure you are ready for Algebra? Students answering yes to any of these questions will benefit from this course. We will reinforce computational skills, as well as strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Some of the target areas include: operations with integers (positive and negative numbers), order of operations, solving equations, ratios, proportions, coordinate systems, and foundations for factoring. Live teaching will cover important concepts with in-class problem-solving, including student participation on the whiteboard.
