This course builds on previously learned vocabulary and grammar. Students will continue to sharpen their reading, writing, and listening skills. In order to reach that goal, students will be introduced to materials from newspaper articles, magazines, various works of German literature, and internet sources. In this course students will learn to think more in German and use it to participate in practical and meaningful conversation on a variety of topics. This course is a good preparation for students who wish to take the AP German class after German 4 or who wish to study German at a more advanced college level.
