AP, Science

“I can truthfully say that AP Physics has been my favorite class of the year, despite the fact I’m more inclined towards literature arts. I highly, highly suggest you take this course. There’s only a couple sections each year, so you want to get a seat before they run out of spots!”

“This is such a fun class! You are able to experience the nerves (and excitement!) of preparing for trial. The teacher, through her experience as a lawyer, is able to teach from real-life knowledge. Possibly the coolest class I’ve ever taken!”

Math

“This course was really helpful for me as I just finished Geometry. It helped me to refresh the concepts of Algebra in my head and I feel more confident going into Algebra 2. I would recommend this course for students who need to brush up on their Algebra skills.”

Bible

“This course really helped me think more biblically about everything, from fictional books to what I do in my everyday life. Through this course, I read many books that strengthened my faith and helped me see different areas of my faith that I should explore more. The teacher was engaging and created fun things to do in class. The assignments were challenging but not too hard. Overall, I loved this class and would highly recomend to anyone thinking of taking it.”

Elementary,

“I love geography so much and this course was amazing. When I came into this class I was expecting only physical geography (maps, bodies of water, etc.) but there was so much more. The course goes continent by continent and studies the physical, cultural, and political geography of each and I learned so much more than I thought I would.”

SAT ACT Prep

“This is a great course for sophomores or juniors to take! I took it as a senior and only went through part of the course before sitting for my ACTs and SATs, but I already saw a big improvement. I was able to raise my SAT score by a 1000, and my ACT score by 3. Other than all the test taking strategies and in-class review, a major benefit of this course is that it prompts you to study consistently and track your progress, so that you do not fall behind or procrastinate. It also provides some extra resources such as vocabulary assessments that were helpful.”

Math

“Before taking Pre-Algebra, I had a strong aversion for math. However, as I took the course, math became my favorite subject! Pre-Algebra helped me understand more about mathematics.”

“This course is wonderful. The teacher is very hands on and she helps with any and every question and need you have. Along with being a great teacher she also includes a giggle here and there. She ensures your comfort and inclusion with your classmates regardless of if you’ve had her class or not, and she explains thoroughly so that you can fully understand the aspects of the assignments and expectations. She helps with your success and makes sure you’re on top of your game. Overall it is a great class and the teacher helped me a tremendous amount in perfecting my craft.”

Science

“This was a challenging course, but I feel proud of myself for accomplishing so much this year. With the knowledge I’ve gained of physical science, I feel better prepared for high school physics and chemistry. The teacher made class enjoyable too. I would definitely recommend to people who want to raise their knowledge of science to a whole other level!”
