“After taking Russian 1, this class allowed me to advance my understanding of Russian even further! I learned so much more than expected about not only the language but the culture as well! I highly recommend this course to anyone who has previously taken Russian 1, because having the ability to speak near-fluent Russian and knowing so much about Russia grants an incredible feeling!”

“Chemistry (Honors) covers a very broad and in-depth approach to the subject. It definitely has its challenges but overall it forces you to study hard and pay attention to lectures; it is helpful to ask plenty of questions and listen in on others’ questions as well. The curriculum is balanced in teaching the conceptual fields of chemistry as well as providing plenty of practice with chemical equations and formulas. The progression of each unit and their topics build well on each other through the year.”

English as a Foreign Language,

“My two favorite subjects in school are English and history, so this was the perfect class for me! I loved reading about America’s history, from the founding of it to the the Roaring Twenties to the Civil Rights Movement to the counterculture of the 60s. Being able to read the literature of the period made it even more captivating. My writing was also challenged, developed, and strengthened, and I hope that I’ve become an effective and intentional writer through this course.”

“This class has been amazing to take this year! As someone who is fascinated by military history and the evolution of the dynamic of war throughout the ages, this course suited me well. The essay assignments this year were not stressful and actually kept me engaged and interested in the topics we were studying. As someone who hates writing, I can say that the writing in this class is fun and leaves room for creativity. I would recommend this class to anyone who enjoys history, the United States, and military history.”

“This course taught me so much and helped me develop an appreciation for the history of the United States. Along with learning about the different events in US history, I learned how to write book reports and research papers. The different topics were fun to learn about and explore, and the books were extremely interesting.”

“Italian is going to be a lot of fun because not only are you learning the Italian language, but also Italian culture as well. There will be cooking videos, in which you follow instructions to cook an Italian dish, cultural researches, in which you research about something from Italy and then create a document about it and share it, and virtual tours of various regions of Italy. You’ll love it.”
