“I would recommend this course to others because I learned a lot about writing and literature. I believe what I learned will be helpful in my remaining years of high school and in college.”

“This course was awesome because it gave me the chance to actively speak Spanish with a group of other kids, which honed my pronunciation skills. The exercises we did were fun and engaging.”

Science

“I’ve really appreciated the approach to Physics that this course takes. It breaks down each large and complex Physics topic into manageable chunks. The homework is challenging, but not overwhelming. The class lectures have been by far my favorite part of this course. My favorite part of the course was the class time, where concepts are explained in detail and in understandable ways. I would highly recommend this course because it gave me a deeper understanding of how many things (gravity, acceleration, electricity, magnets, etc.) work and function in the world around us, ultimately leaving me in awe of God’s awesome creativity.”

“I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to learn a foreign language. French is a beautiful and graceful language that many people need to know and learn. There are approximately 301,096,000 (plus me in the future) French speakers all around the world, so learning this language would put you a step higher than most of the people around you who only know one language. It stimulates the brain and gives you a chance to go to more French-speaking countries and be able to understand and speak their language fluently.”

“This class was an engaging, fun, and overall awesome experience. The in-class exercises allowed me to practice my pronunciation and become more comfortable with speaking out loud, all while reviewing the vocab, verb tenses, and other rules of Spanish. The facts about Spanish culture really helped me better understand not just the language itself, but the people who use it. Overall, 100% would recommend this class.”

“If you have a basic understanding of the Russian language, enough to form short sentences, carry out basic conversations, and point things out in a room, then I would recommend the Russian III course to strengthen your knowledge of the language. You’ll be able to better use adjectives, learn new grammar, familiarize yourself with the culture’s idioms, and learn how to add several new subordinate clauses and prepositional phrases to your sentences. Not to mention all the everyday verbs you’ll learn to use. It’s definitely a step up, but a good challenge nonetheless.”

Bible

“This was one of my favorite TPS classes ever. In Apologetics you will learn defenses for the Christian faith, as well as introductions into what people of other faiths believe. My favorite part of this course was how much civility and respect was given to everyone; the teacher has a passion for the lost and it’s contagious! I’ve definitely grown more confident in my faith and am more excited to share it with others!”

Math

“We go over many topics, and each topic is practiced in very full detail. Any questions are welcomed, and no judgment from the teacher if you don’t understand something. It was a very good class and I would totally recommend it to anyone who is looking for a full review.”

“Spanish was my favorite class this year. I learned more in this class than my two years of Rosetta Stone and another online class combined! Class sessions were filled with fun speaking activities, role-plays, games, and helpful explanations and review of difficult concepts. The teacher was always willing to answer questions and explain concepts we didn’t fully understand. The Spanish history listening activities helped me to understand the history and background of Hispanic culture all over the world. The Bible listening activities helped me to learn Spanish not only as a school subject, but also as a path to understanding more of the Bible through a different cultural perspective. I’m looking forward to my next TPS Spanish course!”
