How to Enroll

Please follow the steps below. Detailed information and instructions for each step are also provided. We also welcome you to visit us in live support where we can walk with you through any or all steps of the process.

Prepare Readiness Assessment Materials

  • If the course Prerequisites require them, Readiness Assessment tests, essays, and questionnaires for a course must be submitted immediately (same day) when you enroll in the course.
  • You should have those completed and ready to submit before you enroll (we cannot commit to holding a seat without Readiness Assessment materials).
  • If you are enrolling in a course where the student’s age or grade level (based on your intended high school Grad Year) is outside the Target Grade Levels listed in the course catalog, please notify TPS before enrolling.

Enroll in Your Classes

  1. If you have not already done so, create a free TPS family account.
  2. Review the Enrollment Agreement in advance. It is required to be reviewed prior to enrolling.
  3. The Family Registration Fee is required to be paid prior to enrolling for the first time in the academic year.
  4. Using the dates listed above, verify your eligibility to enroll. Note that enrollment for TPS AP and TPS College Dual Credit courses opens early for all students, but other courses may not be enrolled (even for the same student) until the applicable opening date listed above.
  5. From the Course Catalog, log into your Family Account.
  6. Locate the course you want to enroll, choose the class section you want to add to your schedule, then add that class section to your cart and assign it to your student.
  7. Repeat this for each student and class until you have the classes and schedule that work for you.
  8. Enroll your Cart.

Submit Readiness Assessment Materials

  • If the course Prerequisites require them, Readiness Assessment tests, essays, and questionnaires for a course must be submitted immediately (same day) when you enroll in the course.
  • Readiness Assessment materials must be uploaded to the enrolled seat from your Family Account.

Academic Readiness Assessment Approval

  • When your enrollment for a course is approved (usually within five weekdays), we will send an email (automated) to the family email address in your Family Account.
  • Once your enrollment for a course is approved, the initial tuition payment for that course is due to be paid.
  • If the enrollment is not initially approved, TPS Support will contact you to request more information and discuss options. You are welcome to initiate this contact for faster assistance. You should not pay tuition for a course until that course enrollment is approved.
  • Readiness Assessment approval status for each enrolled course may be found in your Family Account. You may check there for status of any enrollment anytime.

Tuition Payment

  • Once your enrollment for a course is approved, the initial tuition payment for that course is due to be paid.
  • You should not pay any tuition for a course until that course enrollment is approved.
