This course continues to strengthen the foundation that students began building in Russian 1 and 2. Prior to enrolling, students should have a good introductory knowledge of the six cases of Russian, and be able to conjugate verbs in the present, past and future. In this course students will strengthen their existing knowledge of Russian grammar and develop it further through focused exercises. They will develop their interpretation and communication skills through reading short stories and other texts and through listening activities. They should expect to participate actively in class each week and to complete weekly homework and reading activities outside of class.
