Don’t forget the most important textbook–bring your Bible to school!

How often do teens study—or even read—their Bible?

A 2022 Barna survey exploring teen engagement with the Bible concluded that “Bible reading is not the norm for today’s teens”, and that only 20% engage with their Bible at least weekly.

Over the past 5-10 years, TPS has also observed a significant decline in teen Bible knowledge and understanding in our classes and discussion forums.

Church youth ministries generally no longer engage in Bible study as a regular activity.

Christian schools often no longer include study of the Bible as an academic source document.

In TPS, we consider the Bible to be the most crucial “textbook” for study, discussion, and practical application.

The mission of TPS is fostering academic excellence and biblical virtue to equip students for lives as local and global Christian servants.

We study and teach the Bible as an academic, historical, literary, devotional, vocational, and practical source text.

We apply study of the Bible to shaping faith, character, and behavior, and strengthening mental health and well-being.
