GPA Protection

  • TPS intends that a student’s course grade or transcript should reflect the student’s sustained performance over time, and should not be harmed by that “one bad day” we all have from time to time. We also recognize the occasional need for grade recovery, particularly in high school credit courses.
  • If a student reaches the end of the school year and one assignment in the course is found to be sufficiently inconsistent with all the other assignments in the same course such that it results in a drop of a “letter grade” (e.g., A to A-) for the final course grade, TPS commits to resolving the problem so the course grade is unaffected by the aberrant assignment.
