“Before taking this course, I only knew the vague details of the major Supreme Court cases. After studying them over the semester, I am much more educated about the legal precedents and history of this nation. I also learned how to read cases and dissect the most important information to write case briefs. I can’t recommend this course enough!”

Elementary, Science

“I absolutely adore this course! The teacher is a fun, cheery soul who loves science. Her bouncy, upbeat spirit can never be kept down, and through wind and rain, she’s always the bubbly, happy science teacher! The material taught in this class is helpful and engaging. The teacher is always open to answer any questions from students, and almost always gives us an accurate reply!”

Science

“This course was really great for me. Science is one of the areas I’ve struggled in, and TPS is the third place I’ve tried taking a science course in. I wasn’t thrilled to begin, since my previous science experiences were pretty negative, but my negative expectations were quickly shattered. The teacher was excellent, making the class feel slow-paced, yet still thoroughly teaching the material. I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun and understandable physics class!”

Elementary, Math

“This class is so fun. It’s a little challenging, so if you are a 5th grader craving a challenge it’s perfect! I love how there were games at the end of each chapter and breakout rooms where you work on math problems with a smaller number of classmates. At first it might be a little intimidating, but it really is so fun!”

“From the first class, I knew that I chose the right course. I loved the class environment and how much student participation there was. Also, I enjoyed the literature and history texts that we read. It was engaging and very interesting. I learned so much from the feedback and comments, and through that process I have become a much better writer.”

Global Languages

“Until taking Spanish at TPS, I never would have imagined 3 years of Spanish, let alone a fourth one next year, but the amazing classes and teachers have helped me to fall completely in love with the language and all its quirks. This last year helped me to climb to new heights I barely could have imagined at the end of Spanish 2, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who seeks to progress to the next level of proficiency in the language.”
