Bible

“This course covers the proofs and arguments for (and against, to an extent) Christianity in a thorough and comprehensible manner. The weekly assignments helped me think through the content we covered, and the groupwork (which was a lot more fun than I expected) allowed me to build friendships and discuss ideas with my classmates.”

Elementary, English Writing and Literature

“From taking this class I have become a lot more confident in writing. Before this class I did not know how to write a story or an essay. Now I am as sure as ever! We write poems, fictional stories, essays, and more! I have improved so much! I would recommend this course to anyone!! This class has been one of my favorite highlights of my year!”

Science

“I started this class with poor health in every category. Being able to educate myself on what it means to have good health, along with how to apply it to my life, positively changed so many things for me. I could not recommend this class more.”

English Writing and Literature, TPS

“I have always struggled with grammar and writing skills, but TPS teaches them in a very effective way. In class, my teacher always makes sure everyone understands before moving on. She doesn’t mind questions as long as it is relevant and is always patient when we ask. The textbook is written by the English teachers themselves, and we not only read, but practice the skills learned as well. Before the teacher gives us any assignment, she always prepares us well as to make sure we don’t struggle. All TPS courses, not only this one, provide a very interactive class for students. Students can volunteer to read the class slides, answer questions, share their own work, and input their own comments. There are also fun games when we review for grammar quizzes! I always enjoy the prayer session at the beginning of class and going out into breakout rooms to practice with fellow classmates and peers. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to enjoy an effective experience of polishing both writing and grammar skills, all the while having a fun time!”

“This course was great for me because it had a good amount of homework, including reflection assignments, not overwhelming but enough to make me feel that I had understood the material. I learned a lot of studying, reading, listening, and notetaking techniques and strategies that I think will prepare me for the upcoming year!”

Global Languages

“I love this course because it is structured in a way that eliminates confusion. The lessons are created in an order that makes sense and is easy to study, the homework is in the same format every week, and the material really just works with my brain. I also love the teachers I’ve had so much!”

English Writing and Literature

“English 3 Confident Composition was a great balance for me. The workload was heavy enough to challenge me but was still enjoyable with minimal stress. Since the class focused on analysis in the second semester, I was able to gain good practice for the SAT English questions. This class caused me to think, analyze, and write well.”

Elementary, Global Languages

“The TPS Elementary Spanish courses are a wonderful introduction to a world language at a steady, comfortable pace for younger learners. The classes provide a great foundation for high school Spanish classes in the future. The curriculum is the best my family has ever seen in a world language class!”
