The virtual labs teach students to not only repeat the information we learn but also to apply it. I think this is an incredible course to take before entering the medical field or for anyone interested in human anatomy.”

“I was not expecting to enjoy physics whatsoever and I was nervous about how well I would do no matter how hard I studied. However, the class was fantastic. When I didn’t understand the reading or the homework, the teacher explained it. Sometimes the reading would be difficult, and then I’d go to class and it would all be explained so well and efficiently. Labs, tests, and exams require much studying, time, and effort. However, putting in the work is worth the time. I highly recommend this class.”

“This class is a very fun one for me! We follow a text book which is very clear and easy to read, learn to write formal lab reports, and do fun lab activities. Tests are also fairly straight forward and in-class reviews prepares us well for it. Overall, I’ve had a great experience learning science with this class!”

“Chemistry (Honors) covers a very broad and in-depth approach to the subject. It definitely has its challenges but overall it forces you to study hard and pay attention to lectures; it is helpful to ask plenty of questions and listen in on others’ questions as well. The curriculum is balanced in teaching the conceptual fields of chemistry as well as providing plenty of practice with chemical equations and formulas. The progression of each unit and their topics build well on each other through the year.”

“Science has never been one of my favorite subjects, but the teacher does a really good job at showing just how interesting Biology can be. She always makes the topic at hand easy to understand, even in more difficult sections of the course. As far as the homework goes, it’s pretty straightforward, and at no point through the semester did I ever feel overwhelmed by the workload. Overall, I had a great time with TPS Biology, and I’d definitely recommend taking it!”

“The class consists of a broad study of topics yet was also able to delve into many of them quite thoroughly. Class time had plenty of student participation, fascinating discussions, and real life examples of many of the topics. I feel the class gave me a strong fundamental foundation for improving my own and helping others with their health, wellness, and psychology. It has also helped me feel more prepared and capable to assist in emergency situations involving CPR and choking.”

I did not start the semester taking this class, and I found that I was struggling with chemistry because of that. I quickly joined it, and it has really helped my knowledge and understanding.
