Make sure your student is ready for high school writing! This class will prepare students for entry high school essay writing, which is important to success in high school English and history courses. This course focuses on six writing traits (content, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, conventions) to help students fine-tune their basic proofreading, editing, and writing skills. Students will write on a variety of prompts, receiving detailed instructor feedback and comments from classmates in peer review.
