“This course is one of the most fun and enjoyable courses I’ve ever taken, and I would recommend it to anyone — not just science lovers! With patience and objectiveness, the teacher gracefully and respectfully guides the class through discussions of controversial topics such as the role of government in the protection of the environment or climate change. As for the AP course material itself, I would deem this a course that is challenging but not too conceptually difficult, as many of the topics covered in the course are applicable and observable in the real world. The topics covered are also very relevant to modern news and politics, and studying them has given me a much better awareness about the current state of the environment. Overall, this course is great for anyone but especially valuable for those intending to pursue environmental studies or environmental law, seniors who are looking for an AP course that isn’t too overwhelming, and anyone who wants to gain an objective perspective on modern news regarding the environment.”
