Spanish Conversation: Do you feel that your TPS Spanish 1A student would benefit from more instruction of the material, more time to hone pronunciation, and more opportunity to practice conversational skills with the teacher and other students? Then don’t miss this opportunity to turn your one-session-a-week Spanish course into a two-session-a-week course by adding Spanish Conversations for Spanish 1A to your Spanish 1A course! This is offered for the spring semester only.

Transcript Planning: This course may be combined in series with Spanish 1B to provide the equivalent of HS Spanish 1 taken over two years for a more relaxed pace and stronger Spanish foundation. The course does not confer any credit without successful completion of Spanish 1B.

“This is a very appropriate course for a student if Spanish is their first foreign langauge. It is an excellent introduction to learning Spanish and provides a strong foundation. I was a beginner student with no previous knowledge of the Spanish language. Towards the end of the year my family and I went on a missions trip to Mexico, and I found that I could understand and speak a little to the people who lived there!”

“This was my first Spanish class and I loved it so much. Because it was my first, we signed up for the 1A class so I could get the hang of it and the pace it went at was awesome. The material we used was very easy to understand and easy to navigate. We reviewed the information throughout the year so we wouldn’t forget. We also had to participate in class a lot, which helped with memory and was super fun.”

“My daughter has learned so much Spanish this year! The pace is very reasonable, yet the learning immense. I only wish I could go back and have my older children take Spanish 1A and 1B in middle school like she is doing. It will be so amazing for her to have this foundation before she hits high school.”
